THE AROMANTIC PROJECT
The Aromantica project was born from a family idea.
We are Michele and Carolina Maggialetti, the relationship with the land and the flower is what we inherited from our grandfather, the production of our rose was what always distinguished us territorially.
Growing up each of us pur
sued our own path, studies in agronomy and economics finding compatibility today.
We have always been inspired by the natural and unspoiled world around us, such as the Apulian countryside and Murgia, gourmets of a peasant cuisine, made of wild herbs and flowers of the most common knowledge in the kitchen. Over the years, we have decided to share our passion for the edible landscape through educational and creative experiences.
But the flower? Well, studies, curiosity and early approaches in cuisines to the edible flower prompted us to reconnect with the Flower by using not only its aesthetic aspect but also its nutritional-culinary aspect
Because Aromantica is just that: flower, gluttony and curiosity.
This is a project that was made possible thanks to the support and consents of the LAG (Local Action Group) for the rural development program , and since 2021 we have been working to be here today ready to share it with you.
